Baltimore, Maryland
National Aquarium

When most people think of Baltimoreís rejuvenation they think of the Inner Harbor Area. What might be considered the center piece or, at least, the first anchor for the area is the National Aquarium.

The glass pyramidal area at the top of the building is a rain forest terrarium.

Shown above and moored in front of the aquarium is the World War II vintage submarine, USS Torsk. It is one of several ships, on exhibition in the harbor.

Within the aquarium is a dolphin performance tank.
These are a few photos from one of the dolphin shows.
