Napili Kai

Looking across this portion of Napili Bay you can see the West Maui Mountains rise into the clouds. It is rare to see the 5,788 ft. Puu Kukui peak. With about 400 inches of annual rainfall, the West Maui Mountains are one of the wettest places on Earth and seemingly always shrouded in clouds. What is not rare, are the numerous rainbows seen daily. Though there are daily showers, they are brief and warm.
